Nat Cartney is a photographer and filmmaker based in Sydney, Australia.

She works in the studio and on stage to create promotional material for creatives across theatre, dance and film. She has photographed performances at the Concourse Chatswood, Neilson Studio at Sydney Dance Company, The Vanguard and the Factory Theatre.

Previous clients include Amnesty International, Greenpeace, March Dance, Riverside Theatres and the Argentina Independent. Her work has been used to promote shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and Sydney Festival.

Nat works in the film space as an emerging producer and director. Her work has been featured on MTV, Rage and the festival circuit. Credits include:

She is currently in development through MerrigongX for a new Australia play called Cicada by Tegan Ware, shortlisted for the STC Patrick White Playwright Awards 2024.
