Natalia Cartney is a photographer and filmmaker. Growing up in Sydney, she has lived and studied in Buenos Aires and Barcelona, and traveled extensively. She has a firm love for both the arts and adventure, feeling comfortable on a yacht in high winds, in isolated locations or bearing witness to any kind of creative endevour.

Within photography, Natalia pursues portraiture, behind the scenes for film and theatre, documentary of social justice projects and photojouralism. She draws inspiration from artists such as Annie Leibovitz and Henri Cartier-Bresson. She has produced work for Amnesty International, Greenpeace, Blue Guitar Project, March Dance, Sydney Fringe Festival and the Argentina Independent.

As a film director and producer, Natalia believes in nurturing developing talent and providing a space for experimentation. She works with short films and music videos. She has been part of productions featured on MVT, Rage and local and international film festivals.

Natalia is a photographer at Rolling Media and the creative director of a niche film production company, Studio Borges.
